Session Abstract

Currently, transaction methods for virtual power plants primarily focus on resource scheduling and economic optimization within provincial demand response and peak/frequency regulation ancillary service markets. However, under the coupling of multi-market transactions and multi-level grid support, virtual power plant transaction decision-making and optimal operation still face several challenges: difficulties in characterizing the economics of distributed aggregated resources, evaluating the value of active support functions, making coupled day-ahead, intraday, and real-time decisions, and allocating benefits among multiple heterogeneous internal entities. Therefore, a critical technical issue that urgently needs to be addressed is how to construct a methodological framework integrating market demand forecasting, intelligent portfolio bidding, virtual power plant optimal operation, and multi-perspective value evaluation. This framework aims to enable cross-time-horizon coordinated intelligent bidding and highly efficient optimal operation for virtual power plants across multi-market and multi-level environments.
